DICE, the developer of Battlefield 3, has confirmed that it’s working on a fix for the QBU-88 Sniper rifle and the MG36 light machine gun, which don’t work as intended on the maps from the Back to Karkand DLC.

Battlefield 3 has delighted millions of gamers since its release back in October, especially with its addictive multiplayer, but, ever since the launch of the Back to Karkand DLC, quite a few glitches and problems have appeared.

Now, DICE has acknowledged a new issue that appeared on the PlayStation 3 edition of Battlefield 3, which, after getting the downloadable content, found that specific weapons, like the QBU-88 sniper rifle or the MG36 light machine gun, aren’t working properly on the four new maps, although they work without a problem in regular levels.

"We have identified the problem and are working on a fix. We will keep you posted on our progress," DICE said about this issue.

Sadly, the studio didn’t talk about the lingering voice chat issue that’s been plaguing Battlefield 3 players on the PS3 for quite some time. Hopefully, the team will be able to fix these problems as soon as possible.
