14 DAY TRIAL // Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that it has launched yet another update for its MMO DC Universe Online, called Season’s Greedings, which will see the game world invaded by a group of Orange Lanterns and their leader, Larfleeze.
The group is made at Santa Claus (also sort of a superhero, isn’t he?) and its members have retaliated by hiding a number of stolen Christmas presents throughout Gotham City while getting ready to ship them to their native Vega.
Both heroes and villains will work to get the presents, getting quests from the Green Lantern and from Sinestro to defeat Larfleeze and his orange constructs.
As part of the new update DC Universe Online gamers also get a new Watchtower Players vs. Player map and update to special items in the Marketplace, including a winter hat and some reindeer antlers.
DC Universe Online is currently free-to-play and enjoying an exponential growth in both players numbers and revenue.
