A new version of the DC++ client is up for grabs for Windows users

The stable version of DC++ 0.822 was officially released today, so all users who have previously downloaded the beta versions are now recommended to get the latest build.

While no release notes have been provided, it’s pretty obvious that a stable build is very likely to come with several bug fixes and performance improvements, so expect version 0.822 to provide a seamless downloading experience.

As you most likely know by now, DC++ can work on all Windows versions still supported by Microsoft, including the very old Windows XP and the brand new Windows 8.

Keep in mind, however, that setting up the Director Connect protocol client is quite an easy task for beginners, so make sure you have a look at the help manual before launching it.
