The Generic Safedisc Emulator with an updated application

Today, November 15, The Generic Safedisc Emulator has gotten an updated application with Daemon Tools. Allowing you to run backup copies of SafeDisc, Securom or Laserlock protected games. The freeware has had a complete redesign from scratch with the latest release.

The DAEMON Tool now supports four complete virtual drives along with other functionalities. They've completely reworked the emulation architecture for everyone's benefit and also added DCP (DaemonCodeProtect). This makes analyses harder thus increasing development time for nasty anti-DT tools. These guys are here to help gamers as much as they can.

A new Digital Signature verification was added for supported DT applications and it now supports all popular copy protections.

They've decided to drop the MS-Installer and instead have adapted a modified Nullsoft-Installer. DAEMON Tools has also opted to drop the analog sound support since anything past Win2K doesn't need the feature.

Their website has been swamped all day only showing the ever lovely error message "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." Don't try to get too much information from them because everyone and their cousins are trying to download this latest little app. If you're in dire need, try to find DAEMON Tools on Softpedia instead. Beware of the adware.
