D-Link has released a new firmware developed for its DGL-5500 gaming router, namely version 1.10b04, which includes a large number of changes, fixes, and improvements.

Specifically speaking, the new version fixes the browser compatibility when using QRS Mobile, the DHCP table formatting, and the ACL rule issue, updates the wireless driver to improve stability, and resolves the MAC filtering problems spotted with the previous version.

In addition to that, the AC1300 device gets the Syslog (under Status → Logs) and Dynamic DNS (under Advanced → DMZ) options, as well as the 5GHz Bursting feature (enabled by default). Moreover, WPS-PIN/PBC has been added for the Windows 8.1 platform.

Furthermore, LAN-WAN QOS and “My Network Map” benefit from performance tunings, and the MAC Filtering GUI Table formatting, setup wizard bandwidth testing, user feedback messages, and GUI Layout features have been improved.

Last but not least, the DHCP Reservation’s table labels, IP management, and GUI buttons are corrected, and the “802.11b only” mode (in 2.4GHz) and Guest Field (in wireless status page) have been removed.

That being said, follow the link below and download the latest firmware version for your AC1300 StreamBoost technology router.
