D-Link Offers New Draft 802.11n Router and USB Adapter

Internet access is becoming more mainstream today, with the impressive technology advances that have been made both in the networking industry but also in the market for portable and desktop computer systems, providing users with an affordable way to stay connected and share their work and experiences with friends online. On that note, D-Link, one of the world's leading providers of networking solutions, has just announced that it has released the new Wireless 150 Router and USB Adapter, both of which have been designed
to take advantage of the latest Draft 802.11n technology. These new solutions are said to be capable of providing users with wireless signals of up to 4x faster than standard 802.11g, consequently improving their connectivity experience.

“Equipped with the latest Wireless 150 technology, this new home networking line offers an affordable and easy way to get improved speed and range for sharing high-speed Internet access and more in the digital home,” said Daniel Kelley, senior director of marketing for D-Link Systems in Fountain Valley, California.

According to the Fountain Valley, CA-based company, the new Wireless 150 Router (DIR-600) has been designed as an affordable solution for connecting multiple computers over a secure Wi-Fi network. In addition, the new USB Adapter (DWA-125) comes as a complementary solution, giving users a choice for a complete kit of wireless tools that can help them connect to the Internet using the latest technologies available on the market.

Aside from delivering support for the latest technologies, the new wireless solutions from D-Link are also part of the company's line of Green, eco-friendly devices, meaning that they are designed to provide performance in an environmentally friendly package. As far as pricing and availability goes, the DIR-600 is available through the company's retail network for an MSRP of US$69.99, while the DWA-125 is said to go for US$49.99.
