Chinese to be blamed

Yes, it's true - they were hit by hackers and damaged. The Pentagon had to shut down part of a computer system serving the defense secretary, because of the cyber-attack. The thing is that it all leads to hackers based in China. But is this really true? Black-hatters often use several programs to cover their tracks and to mislead anyone that might "follow" them.

But this is not the first time that the Chinese have been involved in such an attack. I think you all read the news about the recent Chinese attack on the Germans, infesting them with trojans. Oh, and that's not all. Throughout time, hackers from China have hit countries like Canada, UK and Australia and this is certainly not the first time they attack the United States. In any case, this is the most successful cyber-attack ever against the Pentagon.

However, Chinese officials deny that they have anything to do with these attacks, even though it is considered that the People's Liberation Army is strongly related to this. And as seen on Finacial Times' official website, US officials have stated that the penetration that happened in June (yes, it happened back then, but the news appeared now, because it hasn't been acknowledged by the Pentagon till now) raised concerns to a new level because of fears that China had shown it could disrupt system at critical times.

The Pentagon's security experts state that the PLA is behind all this and I was just thinking that if they are right this is very severe. China is one powerful country and cyberwar is nothing to joke about. If they really did this and all the other attacks that have been said to come from China are really from there, then it might mean that they are preparing for something.
