Gamers will get translations based on their relative skill

The development team working on Cyberpunk 2077 at CD Projekt RED suggests that all the characters that appear in the new game might use their native language during dialog sections, with an automatic translator allowing players to get an instant translation.

Sebastian Stepien, a producer working on the new game, is quoted by PC Gamer as saying, “The idea is to record everything in its original language.”

He offered an example about Mexican characters that would all be “performed by Mexican actors. Then a player could try a translating implant, and according to its level, he will get better or worse translation.”

It’s unclear how much strain multiple language work would put on the resources of CD Projekt RED.

Cyberpunk 2077 does not have a launch date and will use an entirely new game engine.
