It can house the best AMD- or Intel-based hardware configurations

There used to be a time when it was impossible to make a powerful PC without all the parts being larger than life (and, thus, the case being huge all on its own). But things are far different now, and the CyberPowerPC Zeus Mini is proof of that.

Small form factor cases that can still fit full-size high-end graphics cards inside are pretty rare, but the Zeus Mini happens to have one such enclosure.

Sure, the newcomer doesn't come with the Radeon R9 290X graphics card, but there is one configuration featuring the Radeon R9 290, which is almost as good.

There's one with Radeon R& 250 graphics too, and there are four configurations with NVIDIA adapters (GTX 650, 760, 770 and 780).

So yes, while the system won't reach the absolute apex of performance possible for single-GPU gaming computers, it will come really close.

That said, an Intel CPU is used as the heart (up to Core i7-4770K at 3.5 GHz) or an AMD APU (up to A10-7850K).

A mini-ITX motherboard designed on the Intel B85 or Z87 chipset is used, or an AMD A88 logic, depending on the processor.

Also, it should be noted that AMD video cards are only included in the APU-powered versions of Zeus Mini, while Intel chips get NVIDIA.

Understandable, since AMD technology can enable dual graphics (combines the power of the GPU with that of the integrated graphics in the APU).

Moving on, the Zeus Mini have up to 16 GB memory (8 GB default), a DVD writer and the Windows 8.1 operating system. The price goes from $599 / €599 (no add-in graphics) to $1,479 / €1,479. You can choose to install 240 mm liquid coolers if you so desire (very unusual on such small computers).

All in all, the CyberPowerPC Zeus Mini gaming PC measures 4.4 x 17.4 x 13 inches / 111 x 441 x 330 mm.
