Prompted by NVIDIA’s launch of the new next-generation NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series graphics cards, CyberPower has pulled the veil off a series of four new laptops, including the FANGbook EVO HX7-100, HX7-200, HX7-300 and HX7-400.

CyberPower is taking advantage of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series graphics in order to provide ultra-smooth, HD game play while pushing the settings at the maximum.

The GeForce GTX 880M is said to be able to provide 20% improved performance compared to its predecessors, while the GTX 870M is capable of adding speeds improved with 50%. Select FANGbook models will be implemented with the GTX 860M that is expected to bring about similar enhancements.

Furthermore, the new EVO HX7 notebooks also come implemented with NVIDIA’s CUDA and PhysX technologies for a more integrated, immersive gaming experience.

NVIDIA’s Optimus technology is highlighted to be capable of increasing battery life and the GeForce Battery Boost feast can be enabled from the Geforce Experience application, allowing the restricting of graphic performance under demanding gaming conditions, in order to extend battery life by twofold.

Another highlight of the new NVIDIA graphic series is the presence of the GeForce ShadowPlay feat that allows users to capture and share in-game footage.

Gamers who prefer spacious screens when busting demons and decimating foes will find the FANBbook EVO HX7 series comes bundling a 17.3-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare display that’s supposed to be delivering an apt graphic rendering.

Albeit being quite capable machines, the FANGbook EVO HX7 measure just 16.86 x 11.43 x 2.17 inches / 42 x 29 x 6.8 cm and weighs just 7.9 lbs / 3.5 kg (measured with battery onboard). Granted, they are far from being Ultrabooks, but the avid gamers will still be able to take them everywhere.

The FANGbook HX7-100 can be considered the base model of the line, sporting the 17.3-inch Full HD 1080 display and drawing power from an Intel Core i7-4700MQ processor combined with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M 6GB plus 8GB of RAM.

The lappy is fitted with 1TB HHD, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and runs Windows 8.1 out of the box.

CyberPower also offers HD Surround Sound for an improved audio experience plus an anti-ghosting, fully backlit gaming keyboard.

The pricing for this model is set to $1,499 / €1,075 and rates for the other models in the line will climb up from here. We’re not being told when to expect the new EVO HX7 notebooks on the market, yet.
