They merge the benefits of high-end hardware inside a small enclosure

The Hadron Hydro Chassis is the sort of desktop case that is at once small and capable of holding powerful, bulky hardware, which is exactly why CyberPower chose it out of EVGA's whole line.

It's actually kind of surprising this would happen, seeing how EVGA is known far and wide only for NVIDIA-based hardware and Intel motherboards.

Nonetheless, EVGA wants to make a name for itself on the chassis front too, and this deal with CyberPower will definitely help there.

It has also made sure to have a contingency in place too, just in case. In addition to the chassis, it has provided the EVGA Liquid Cooling Kit.

Then again, it's not like the former can ship without the latter. It wouldn't be called Hadron Hydro if that were the case.

That said, the gaming PC configuration within the chassis revolves around the Intel Core i5-4670K central processing unit (CPU), a quad-core unit with 3.4 GHz base clock and 3.8 GHz Turbo Boost. It also has 6 MB L3 cache and 84W maximum TDP (thermal design power).

A Gigabyte Z87-N WIFI motherboard supports the chip, as well as 8 GB of DDR3 1600 MHz memory, a hard disk drive of 7,200 RPM (rotations per minute) and an EVGA 24X Slot Loading DVD writer.

Needless to say, an add-in graphics card is part of the deal as well, namely an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. Which is surprising actually.

With all the new AMD and NVIDIA boards out there, we'd have expected a Radeon R9 or even NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 780 Ti to be included.

Then again, it's not like the overpowered ones will fit in a mini-ITX case, and this is, in the end, supposed to be a gaming system somewhat more affordable than the rest, with dual USB 3.0 ports, and two 2.5/3.5 inch drive bays.

Then again, the hardware can be customized greatly, so the price should be able to go far higher than the starting $1,275 / €1,275.
