CyberPower, a leading builder of custom PC solutions, has just announced that its customers will be offered a choice for the latest USB 3.0 and SATA III interfaces, through the company's Gamer Xtreme line of desktop PCs. This new feature will enable gamers and computer enthusiasts to take advantage of the latest hardware, such as faster SSD solutions or external storage products. USB 3.0 and SATA III will be delivered as standard features on all models of the aforementioned line of desktop PCs.

According to the company, its customers will be able to configure and order a Gamer Xtreme configuration that will be featured with the aforementioned USB 3.0/SATA II interface. The system will be based on the latest Intel chipsets, including the Core i7-supporting X58 and P55, which will consequently deliver the ultimate gaming performance available for today's desktop computer systems. These systems will be backwards compatible with devices that are featured with previous versions of the aforementioned interfaces.

USB 3.0 and SATA III are expected to become the standard for the next-generation of computer systems, peripheral devices or storage products. These solutions provide users with a performance boost over current interfaces, with USB 3.0 said to be capable of achieving up to 10 times the transfer speed of USB 2.0, while the SATA III specification with its 6 Gbit/s performance would benefit  from the latest flash-based storage solutions, such as Solid State Drives.

With the updated Gamer Xtreme system from CyberPower, users will be able to transfer their multimedia files, including photos, movies, and music, at increased transfer speeds, boosting the PC's overall performance. According to the company, the configuration will be available for as low as US$749, but you will easily go north of that, once you fully-configured the system with the latest hardware solutions.
