Black Friday has ended, but if you didn't manage to get your hands on what you set out to buy in the first place, have no worry. You get another shot with Cyber Monday and a fresh batch of discounts and goodies.

For example, Amazon has axed the price of the 7-inch Kindle Fire HDX taking $50 / €37 off the original $229 / €168. The discount is available only for today, so if you have your eyes set on the new Amazon slate, hurry up and take the advantage of the offer.

The promotion applies to the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions of the tablet. Keep in mind that the new Kindle comes bundled with Amazon’s latest Fire OS, so if you want the full Android experience, this is not for you.

Nevertheless, the Kindle Fire HDX proves to be a worthy Nexus 7 competitor packing a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

Amazon has also added in a nifty 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and the revolutionary Mayday button, which enables users to get technical assistance at any hour of day and night.
