CyanogenMod, the team of developers behind one of the most popular custom software for Android devices, appears set to partner with Chinese maker Oppo for the official loading of their ROM on a smartphone.

A teaser video suggesting this, and which can be seen embedded above, has been already published on Oppo’s official YouTube account.

Recently, CyanogenMod announced plans to partner with OEMs out there for the loading of their software on upcoming devices.

No details on possible vendors of choice have been provided at the time, and many suggested that HTC might be their partner, but it appears that they were wrong.

Oppo and CyanogenMod are set to make an official announcement on their collaboration on Monday, September 23, and all the necessary details on the deal will be unveiled then, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
