No official CM ROM has been released for the device as of now

CyanogenMod, the team behind one of the most popular custom ROMs for Android devices out there, has made available the source code for its software for various Galaxy Note 3 models.

The kernel and ROM code is now available for both the international version of the smartphone and the T-Mobile and Sprint iterations of the device, CyanogenMod announced.

For the time being, the software is not available for AT&T and Verizon models, which does not come too much as a surprise, given that these carriers insisted upon having the bootloaders of the handset locked, as AndroidPolice notes.

CyanogenMod doesn’t have an official ROM available for the Galaxy Note 3 as of now, but the availability of the aforementioned code suggests that it might not be too long before that changes.

The first custom builds for the mobile phone should become available for download in a matter of weeks, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
