Owners of an HTC One smartphone on the network of Verizon Wireless interested in loading some custom Android builds on their devices can now download and install CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly builds.

The handset is currently based on Android 4.2 with Sense 5 loaded on top, but the CyanogenMod 10.2 nightlies will change that.

While based on the latest Android release out there, the CM software comes with the stock Android UI, and leaves HTC Sense aside (and any other custom interface, for that matter).

Those who would like to get a taste of the nightly for HTC One should head over to the CyanogenMod download website. As Android Police notes, the file weighs 186.53 MB, and can be flashed as any other CM ROM would be.

Before proceeding, users should make sure that they have backed up all data on the smartphone, as all of their personal info will be erased during the installation process.
