If you're a bike addict and you got tired of keeping your iPod in your jeans' pockets as you ride, here is a device that might mix the iPod functionality with the advantages of riding a bike. In fact, if you're looking for some troubles and want to wake everybody in the hood with your music, then the cy.fi wireless iPod dock is the right bike speaker, as it can deliver your favorite music in stereo on both sides.

As for its capabilities, it can work with both iPod nano and other versions, features a cool wireless speaker but no, there is no Bluetooth compatibility on that. The player is said to use the Kleer Audio transmission, which claims to be up to 10 times more energy efficient than the Bluetooth option all players feature.

When it comes to its dimensions, the Cy. Fi speaker is just about the size of a deck of cards and it is easily mountable on your bike's handlebars.

You don't even have to wear earphones, since the device spreads its stereo sound to the left and right, which means you will receive the noises of impending danger.

The best thing is if you and all your friends get more speakers, only one iPod can broadcast its signal to everyone in your riding group. Isn't that cool?

Funny thing, the fellows from Gizmodo said it looks like an "orangutan's a*s"! Couldn't agree more on that. Still, its capabilities sound pretty good. According to the company, the Cy. Fi transmission is 100 per cent lossless, and it is entirely sent from your iPod, which remains tucked away in your cozy pockets.

As I am pretty sure many of you will want to buy it, I should tell you it will be available sometime in 2008, with a price tag of about 150 bucks a pop! And this is not expensive at all, as most of the docking stations offer less for more.
