14 DAY TRIAL // As expected, ZeptoLab has just released Cut the Rope 2 on App Store, the sequel to the smash hit featuring the cute little monster Om Nom, also known as the candy eater.
Unfortunately, Android fans will have to wait a bit longer for the game to arrive on their favorite platform, as ZeptoLab announced Cut the Rope 2 will be launched on Google Play in early 2014.
According to developers, the new game comes with 120 entirely new levels of candy collecting, rope cutting action, as well as 5 new characters (the Nommies) meant to help Om Nom in his adventures.
Each new character comes with unique abilities, which are quite funny. Check them out below, as described by ZeptoLab:
- Roto can carry Om Nom to the best candy catching locations; - Lick can make small bridges with his tongue to help Om Nom reach his goal; - Blue can lift Om Nom to new levels of candy hunting fun; - Toss can throw objects, including candy; - Boo can scare Om Nom to jump to new heights.
Aside from the new content, ZeptoLab announces that Cut the Rope 2 feature new, better graphics, sound and gameplay elements, such as the option to move our little monster candy-eater Om Nom. There’s a short story behind the Cut the Rope 2 game as well, but it has nothing to do with its predecessor:
“In his unexpected adventure, Om Nom breaks out of his box and travels through lush forests, busy cities, junkyards and underground tunnels, all in pursuit of one goal – CANDY! Along the way, he encounters the Nommies, the cutest candy collecting helpers a little green monster could wish for!”
You can now download Cut the Rope 2 for iOS for $0.99 / €0.99 via Softpedia. Keep in mind the game should be fully compatible with all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices powered by iOS 4.3 and up.
