A tuning shop in Dubai has customized a 2008 Nissan Patrol by equipping it with backseat steering. If you don't believe me just check out the video above, uploaded by user “King of Customs.”

The user name is also the name of the garage owned by Ali Saeed, who probably believes that a king needs to be comfortable when driving.

He has fitted the vehicle so that he can drive it from the backseat, which means moving and refitting the steering wheel, the pedals and gauges.

There is no way that he can use his rear-view mirror but he has that covered, using cameras to supply all the information that he needs.

I think that his take on the design of a vehicle is interesting and flexible, but other drivers may be confused by seeing a car drive itself.
