We all know that MMORPG players like to communicate with each other. Given the fact that Sigil Games wants to make Vanguard: Saga of Heroes extremely popular, even more popular than World of Warcraft, they have decided to satisfy the crave for communication and announced a new item for their upcoming MMORPG.

This new feature is called The Guild Mail system and will allow players to send personalized messages to other players, wherever they may be. This will not be a regular mailing system, but players will be able to attach a voice to their messages. On top of this, Sigil Games has decided to turn things up a notch and gave users the possibility of adding a face to their messages.

You can create your own guild mail if you follow this link, and then you send it to other Vanguard fans. Keep in mind that the game is not yet released, but is due to come out in the first quarter of 2007. If you want to be sure that you can get your hands on a copy, know that pre-orders have started as of December 5th.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes servers are called Shards, and so far there are only two confirmed server types, namely Player versus Environment and Player versus Player. According to the game's developer, Sigil Games, Role-playing servers will be added after the game comes out.

The game is set in a fantasy world called Telon, and it features some traditional MMORPG race like goblins, humans, dwarfs, elves, barbarians. Another not to traditional race called vulmane will be introduced and apparently, this is a race of intelligent bipedal wolf-men (not to be confused with werewolves).
