14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just rolled out the “Frozen Formations” theme, offering a total of 12 wallpapers compatible with any Windows 7 or Windows 8 desktop.
The theme is available for free and comprises desktop backgrounds from Antarctica, Alaska and Japan. It supports 32- and 64-bit operating systems, requiring just a couple of seconds to complete the installation process.
As usual, you have nothing else to do than to download the theme and double-click the theme pack file. All files are automatically deployed on your computer, with the desktop customization screen giving you the option to set any of the included wallpapers as your new background.
“From minute crystalline patterns to cascading icicle walls, this free theme for Windows captures nature's mastery of the frozen form,” Microsoft explains.
