While some clients are told to get the heck out of the Apple retail store and never come back, other retail stores trap customers inside, sources are reporting. Allegedly, a storm blasted into Clarendon area knocking power out and trapping customers inside the Apple Store in Arlington, VA.

In a situation like this, as a guy, you (most likely) start checking to see if there are nice chicks around, right? As a girl, you (probably) start looking around hoping no ugly, sweaty, cowardly geeks are present, so you can wait it out in peace, get to your car and drive home.

"When a powerful storm rolled through the Washington (DC) area Saturday afternoon, it caught several visitors at the Clarendon (Virg.) retail store without any safe way to return to their cars. As the customers waited, the storm knocked out power throughout the area around 2:30 p.m., forcing the store to close for the rest of the day", ifoAppleStore is reporting.

This photograph posted by one of the folks trapped inside (who wished to remain anonymous for one reason or another) depicts the ugly weather outside. Everyone, as you can see, is looking through the glass doors, probably hoping their cars don't get smashed. Others are probably facing that direction because of the geek filming the event.

Analytic folks once said that Apple products are for the intelligently-curious bunch. The evidence is astonishingly obvious in this picture. As you can see, the closest person to the exit is checking out the big Apple logo like the store is some sort of alien landing site.

Other analytic folks once said that merely flashing the Apple logo before a person's eyes will instantly make them more creative. What are the chances that person was saying "Open Sesame"?
