A Wendy's waitress getting bullied by a customer has had other patrons jump to her defense.

"Stood up for an innocent employee at Wendy's who was being bullied by a customer. She gave us free frosties and chicken nuggets," a post on Reddit reads.

According to their response to comments, the heroes were two teenagers from New Jersey. They also had a message written for them when they had their order delivered. The worker thanked them for being "awesome," apart from serving them free food and drinks.

Other Redditors working in the fast food business comment on the fact that they are allowed to refuse orders if customers are rude.

After all, they are only getting paid minimum wage. As I documented before, service employees in the New York Area have taken to the streets today asking for their salaries to be doubled.
