Microsoft is gearing up to deploy the already announced Kinect Star Wars title, so what better way to do this than releasing a custom limited edition Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle, which is now available for pre-order in the USA.

The Star Wars franchise is a huge one, with legions of fans all over the world, and Microsoft wants to persuade a lot of them to buy the upcoming Kinect Star Wars title, which will be released for the Xbox 360's special sensor peripheral later this year.

In order to motivate gamers to buy a console for that game, Microsoft has now revealed, during the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, a special Limited Edition Xbox 360 Star Wars bundle.

The package includes a R2-D2 Xbox 360 console, with a blue and white paint job similar to the one of the famous small robot, a C-3PO-like golden controller, and the first ever white Kinect sensor, alongside other things, highlighted by Microsoft below.

The Xbox 360 Limited Edition Kinect Star Wars Bundle will include: -Kinect Star Wars game -Custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 Console with custom sounds (Hear them (MP3) - > Power on and Tray eject) -White Kinect Sensor -Custom C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 Wireless Controller -320 GB Hard Drive -Xbox 360 Wired Headset -Kinect Adventures game -Exclusive downloadable content. This special Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle is currently available for pre-order, costing $449.99, a small price considering the custom nature of this console.

Its release, however, is set to happen later this year, alongside Kinect Star Wars, so fans should be on the lookout for an official launch date to be announced by Microsoft in the near future, and save up the money needed to get this very special package.

Until then, fans can enjoy a batch of photos with the limited edition Xbox 360 and its accessories below.
