Custom Robo Arena is a science fiction action game for the Nintendo DS. Previous games in the
series are Custom Robo and Custom Robo v2 for the N64, Custom Robo: Battle Revolution for the GameCube and Custom Robo GX for the Game Boy Advance. The player participates in Custom Robo tournaments and tries to earn money to buy parts in order to improve their robot and new robot frames.
The game features 2-player multiplayer with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection including voice chat, Multi-Card play, and DS Download Play. Custom Robo Arena also sees the return of the "Rivals" list, a feature first seen in Metroid Prime Hunters. The DS' unique touch screen is also used to choose parts for the robot as well as clean it up after each battle ends. The new diorama mode allows you to pose your robot in front of a setting; this pose is shown to your opponent prior to a Wi-Fi battle. This is a new feature to the series and exclusive to the DS version.

Shrinking parts At the end of the game, after purchasing the Pipit Robo, the Jameson Robo, all Amun parts, equip the Amun parts to Jameson, then Pipit, then Jameson again. The Amun gun and Amun bomb parts will have shrunk to the size a normal gun would be, instead of giant. They will look superdeformed on the Jameson robo.
