The cooling system combines liquid and airflow and is software controlled

It's one thing to make a workstation and throw it out there, on the retail market, and another to actually build one on command. Digital Storm did the latter with the PRO line.

Truth be told, almost all workstations, and desktops and laptops for that matter, can be customized nowadays, to a certain extent.

It's just that products like the PRO series of Digital Storm workstations lend themselves to customization more than usually.

Evidence number one is the starting price of $2,442 / €1,805. It sounds high, until you realize that's the tag of the basic configuration.

Based on what memory, storage, networking and case size you select, the final price can go much, much higher.

One might say that the only thing that holds true for all PRO series workstations is the Digital Storm HydroLux cooling system, which combines air-based and liquid-based active cooling.

The company even provides a software application that can fully control the system, and even has an automatic function that adjusts fan speeds and pump strength based on temperature fluctuations in real time.

Thus, even when the CPU is overclocked to 4.7 GHz (via Digital Storm TwisterBoost Technology), the hardware should stay at a nice, manageable temperature.

Even the fans come in different options, based on whether customers prefer cooling power over silence or vice-versa.

Digital Storm Pro Workstations are already available at the price we have mentioned above. All of them are put through a 72-hour stress tests, then a multi-point QA inspection, before being shipped off. Check the video embedded below for more.

"We (Digital Storm) left no stone unturned crafting our Workstations to stand the test of time, allowing our customer to make a single investment that will greatly increase their productivity and work flow for many years to come," said Rajeev Kuruppu, Digital Storm's director of product development.
