Germany will be the first to get it this week, possibly because of IFA 2013

IFA 2013 will take place next week, in the early days of September, in Berlin, Germany, which means that all participants are shipping lots of products to the country.

LG is doing one better though. Maybe it even thought that, if it can drag along a couple of curved OLED TVs, it may as well bring a whole shipment.

What we're getting at is this: LG's 55-inch curved OLED TV, 55EA9800, will finally reach Europe, Germany in particular, this week.

The product has been selling in the US for some time and is now expanding its reach.

The price has been set at €8,999, which is the rough equivalent of $12,000. That's actually less than the initial $14,999 in North America.

For the specifications, go here. Just don't expect 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) because you won't find it on this particular product.
