14 DAY TRIAL // There's nothing to joke about the hard work and money that went into making Curiosity's landing on Mars a possibility, but you know how the Internet works. NASA's rover is officially the latest viral sensation.
Below is the video of the reaction of the technicians at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, as they received confirmation that Curiosity had safely landed in a giant crater on the surface of Mars.
While this was happening, Twitter too was reacting to the news and, at the end of this post, you will find some of the most savory reactions to this amazing accomplishment.
Of course, conspiracy theorists are already out in the open, saying the entire thing was staged. Movie buffs are linking the landing to events they saw in some of the most recent blockbusters, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” among them.
And then there's this, some people's way of joking that humanity will find its doom with this new space adventure.
