Culdcept SAGA combines the strategy of a board game with the depth of a trading card one to create a unique fusion
of traditional turn-based play. There was a demo available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Gold members which even allowed players to have a go at the game's multiplayer mode. It featured a single player mode, of course.
Gameplay is rather simple in Culdcept Saga, but that doesn't mean you'll get bored playing. You see, by "simple" we mean that the rules are basic enough to make you want to play immediately, but as soon as you move around the game board and attempt to claim ownership of land squares, all this while battling enemy monsters, you will realize that it is quite complicated. You'll see that it takes more than one try to succeed. And if you do... you get the almighty game score points!
We know that true gamers play all these games just for fun, as they should and not in order to achieve specific point landmarks to prove their friends they are very cool, but we also know that sometimes you just can't live without achieving everything possible with a title you really enjoy. New Champion (5 points) Rise to the pinnacle of the Colosseum.
Ally of Earth (5 points) Form an alliance with Melkizekiah, the Great Forest.
Ally of Fire (5 points) Form an alliance with Phoenixion, Mountain of the Firebird.
Ally of Water (5 points) Form an alliance with Blumeer, Country of Mist.
Ally of Air (5 points) Form an alliance with Batuan, the Golden Desert.
First Trial Clear (10 points) Pass the trial of Venice, Fountain of the Stars.
Second Trial Clear (10 points) Pass the trial of Kaningun, Tower of the Moon.
Third Trial Clear (10 points) Pass the trial of Provedin, Palace of the Sun.
Path to Light (20 points) At the Altar of Light, become the ultimate Cepter.
Path to Darkness (20 points) At the Altar of Darkness, become the ultimate Cepter.
Path to Blessing (20 points) Upon the Stairway to the Gods, become the creator of a new world.
