The assault of the capable tablets coming out of China continues with the Cube Talk9X – a slate with a spacious display and a powerful processor to run things.

The new device has shown its face at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair recently boasting a 9.7-inch Retina Display (2,048 x 1,536 pixels), 3G voice calls and an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 2.0 GHz fitted with Mali 450 GPU, brings word Table News (via 1Pad).

Furthermore the slate packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, two cameras (2MP in front and 8MP on the back with f/2.0 aperture).

Like many slates coming out of Asia, the Cube Talk9X offers customers the opportunity to place phone calls too, but also boasts Bluetooth, GPS, light sensor, Radio FM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

An interesting aspect is that the slate seems to pack a whopping 10,000 mAh battery that should probably provide ever-lasting life to your device.

For all the goodness it brings, the Cube Talk9X will sell for a meager $160 / €115. The tablet is up for pre-order at the moment, but the first units will start shipping out starting April 26. The first batch will probably sell like pancakes.
