The first release candidate for CrystalDiskInfo 5.1 has been released. This revision brings to the table new features as well as improvements and general bug fixing.
CrystalDiskInfo 5.1 RC 1 adds support for the upcoming operating system from Microsoft and Windows Server 2012. Moreover, it can now offer details about Plextor SSD hardware. Support for OCZ’s SSD parts has also been improved.
Additional modifications present in this release include updating the desktop gadget utility and changing some of the default settings. As such, ATA_PASS_TROUGH for S.M.A.R.T. is currently enabled and the developer disabled Samsung HD155UI/HD204UI, because of a firmware bug.
The language files have been updated and the developer also worked on removing a set of unspecified bugs that affected the functionality of the application.
