The makers of CrystalDiskInfo, the hard disk info tool, rolled out a new version of the application. It is a minor build that takes care of a very small bunch of details.
The set of new things in CrystalDiskInfo 5.0.4 is reduced to one line, which informs that the application now comes with support for Western Digital host writes/reads.
Repairs do not come in greater number, either, as the developer announces that access to FDD from version 5.0.1 of the product has been fixed.
Last on the list of modifications is updating of the language files.
One thing to be taken into account is that IRST 11.5 Alpha does not support CrystalDiskMark (hard disks benchmarking tool) and, as such, CrystalDiskInfo cannot retrieve and display the details.
