Speaking of the broken engagement, Hugh Hefner said that Crystal Harris could have made a lot of money if she married him as planned. However, the blonde bombshell is determined to make it on her own – and she’s shopping a reality series about her life to the networks.

Crystal and The Hef, who happens to be 60 years her senior, was supposed to be married this June, but she called off the wedding just 5 days before it was to take place.

In following interviews, she explained the decision by saying she realized getting married to Hefner was not what she wanted, so she just turned her back on that world.

Now, TMZ says, she wants to show the world how she’s struggling to launch a career without the support of one of the most famous and well-known men in showbiz.

“The chick who ditched Hugh Hefner days before their wedding is now trying to shop her own reality show around town... and even more shocking, there’s actual interest,” TMZ writes.

While this is the first time word of this gets out in the press, it’s not that much of a shock: celebrity pundits have been saying all along that the engagement and the wedding preparations were just a PR stunt to launch Crystal’s career.

“TMZ has learned Crystal Harris already has meetings set up with a few different networks, hoping to land a deal,” the same media outlet informs.

“We’re told the premise behind the show (beyond just the fact that she’s hot) will focus on her struggle to find a career after burning the richest bridge she will ever have,” says TMZ.

This will probably also include details of her aspirations as a budding singer and her continued work as a glamour model.

For the time being, the project is still in the air. Rest assured you’ll find out more about this the moment a release date and a name for the new reality series will be announced.
