Crysis Wars is the standalone multiplayer mode which came out with the launch of Crysis: Warhead. The sequel to one of the most anticipated FPS (First Person Shooter) games of last year, Crysis, it offered a pretty decent gaming experience. Now, CryTek, the developers behind these titles, have just announced that the following weekend, October 10-12, would give players the opportunity to play Crysis Wars for free on any dedicated server. Also, gamers can play offline, via their Local Area Network, for a whole week starting today.

It is a great offer, one that few of you could refuse. It really is a fantastic multiplayer experience, be it online or offline, and can't be missed by any true shooter fan. Crysis Wars comes with 21 maps which can offer dozens of hours of nano suit wearing action. Players can choose from three modes of gameplay: Instant Action, Power Struggle and Team Instant Action; the last one is similar to a team deathmatch mode, highly anticipated by gamers.

If you want to get your hands on the game, you have to register on this site starting today and you will be able to download your free version of Crysis Wars. A unique key will be sent to your profile after registration and this will allow you to enter free online play from October 10 at 11 AM until October 12 at 11:59 PM.

As I said, the big number of maps and multitude of gameplay modes are really great and can offer loads of entertainment to any shooter fans. Plus, the Crysis universe offers a multitude of enemies, destructible environments and drivable vehicles, which are very fun. Until the weekend, better start playing some of the single player campaigns to get acquainted to the control schemes and nano suit technology.
