14 DAY TRIAL // Some new in-game screenshots of the upcoming Crysis 3 first-person shooter have appeared on the web, courtesy of a lighting artist’s portfolio, showing off the game’s environments as well as the guards working for the evil CELL corporation.
Crysis 3 is set to appear in the first quarter of 2013, so developer Crytek and publisher EA are trying to slowly raise the hype around the shooter by releasing videos and screenshots.
We have already heard a lot about the shooter’s visuals, which will be even more impressive than the ones in last year’s Crysis 2, and its premise, which puts the protagonist, Prophet, in a version of New York City encased in a giant dome that causes a jungle environment to take over the actual buildings.
Now, new images of the game have appeared on the web, via AGB, this time showing off some of the new environments, as well as CELL guards, who are working for the corporation responsible for the dome.
You can expect to see even more detailed images of the game as we get closer to its launch next year.
