Paris Hilton was never that much loved by the media and, seeing she is who she is, we can totally understand why the world would shudder at the thought of the naughty heiress. Now that she has been duly exposed (again) in the eyes of the public, many are beginning to wonder if they haven't seen enough of the bimbo already.
The National Boycott of Paris Hilton Movement says the world has had enough of Paris and her antics. According to the newly founded organization, the singer/actress/model/(insert word here) was fun for a while, but a line must be drawn as to what she can or cannot say in front of a camera. Of course, we are talking about that certain footage in which Paris can be heard hurling racial and homophobic insults towards a man out of the camera's range.
Paris and Nicky were at some party or another and, while there, they probably thought of showing the entire world just what was going on in those small brains of theirs. Sure, they didn't know that the tape would be posted on a website and then leaked all over the Internet but neither can they be excused by saying that they thought their words would remain without consequences.
'We're like two n*ggers. N*gger hoodlum, broke poor bitch from, like, Compton.', Paris says straight in the camera, referring to herself and to her sister, right after she talks to a man, addressing him with the far from endearing 'faggot' term. Naturally, both GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Association Against Defamation) and LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) have reacted violently when they saw the footage, asking for a public apology from Paris.
Until now, she failed to do so. Save from saying that she 'regrets' saying the word 'faggot' (during a casual press interview), Miss Hilton did not issue an apology. And the world is still mad at the major oversight: that is why the National Boycott of Paris Hilton Movement has decided to take matters in its own hands, sending an open letter to FILA (for which Paris is a spokesperson) and asking them to fire her ass.
Linda Taylor, the representative for FILA answered the letter by saying that 'Paris Hilton is not the "face" you or any Fortune 500 company desires', thus implying that she had already been fired as their 'face'. The Boycott aims to take down Paris not by means of defamatory methods in the press, but by boycotting all the products she endorses, unless she issues that now long overdue apology.
Useless to say, the world is hopeful that Paris will be brought down. Stay tuned for details of how said boycott works out.
