Most of us would love to drive a Ferrari, but its prohibitive price stops this dream from becoming reality. The keen fans of Formula 1 sport cars can now own one, or at least what's left of it after parts of a crushed luxurious Ferrari ended up in the hands of the creative French artist Charly Molinelli.
It’s a real bargain. For only $15,600 (€11,744) you could get an amazing coffee table made out of see-though material, wood and of course, car components.
Therefore, you could enjoy every sip of your morning coffee while looking at what it used to be a high-speed race car. Recycling processes can transform common items into ingenious, expensive works of art, but this time Molinelli took this practice to a whole new level.
It definitely counts as a high-class substitute for your traditional pieces of furniture and gives you more satisfaction that any auto catalog could. This is not the first time when a former race car makes us raise an eyebrow.
British artist Dexter Brown has already made a name for himself after paining a no-longer used Force India F1 car. It was properly transformed and then displayed on a vertical wall.
Brown decided to sell it and the amount of money obtained went to support the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Force India Academy.
