A very complex melee map

We have a medium size melee map here: 160x160 that was constructed using the Ashenvale tileset. We recommend that you play this map with at least four players. It supports up to 12 players.

Bombardment Wars is a futuristic altered melee where two sides are pitted against each other on opposite sides of a landscape marked with trenches and holes. These deformations in the land are going to provide significant cover in the form of a large armor bonus and also they are very useful for holding positions.

[admark=1]Players will start with the bare fragments of a base, much like one would do in regular melee type map. However the map's techtree is much more massive than regular melee, and will allow for a myriad of possible playing styles.

The resources will come in the form of supply wagons spawned at regular intervals. If the supply wagons make it from the spawn point to the drop off point, the player will receive resources. However, the other team can interfere and attempt to capture the supplies for themselves.

The game can be either very fast paced or very slow. Defending your supply wagon is a must as not only can your enemies cut your supplies, but they can also take your gold and lumber.

Teamwork is not really needed but can be very useful. The map also has AI support, so you can add computers in the player slots and they will be capable of playing the map (at a fairly high proficiency too).

No one unit can win the game, so you will have to use a variety of recruits. Air units are quite special. While they have a very good damage to cost ratio, their autocast ability (the one that actually does the damage) consumes mana. And the most important thing you should know about the air mana is that is not rechargeable.

In order to win on this map you will have to annihilate all your opponents!
