The development team at the Paradox Development Studios announces that it is working on a new expansion for Crusader Kings II, called Sons of Abraham, which is designed to enhance the religious aspect of the grand strategy title.

The biggest change is the addition of Judaism as a potential faith choice for the character, which will allow gamers to create full kingdoms and empires that follow it.

Players will also get more ways to interact with the Christian Pope and with the dangerous warrior monks Holy Orders that fight for him.

In the Islamic world players can choose to support the rationalist Mutazili or opposing Ashari and see the tenets of the faith change as the game evolves.

Sons of Abraham will also introduce hundreds of new religious events and will provide gamers more faith-based ways to influence their families and their courtiers.

The Crusader Kings II expansion will be launched via digital distribution on November 18.
