The team at the Paradox Development Studio announces that the Rajas of India expansion is now out for all those who have bought the original Crusader Kings II and a launch trailer is also offered, describing some of the most interesting new mechanics that are being included.

Players will be able to explore a huge new number of provinces in the Indian subcontinent and there are three religions to play as, each with their unique mechanics and advantages for clever gamers to explore.

The war elephant unit is also available for use and tacticians also need to take into account the jungle terrain and the effects of the new mechanics for invading armies.

Rajas of India will give players even more opportunities to expand the power of their family and to find innovative new ways of disposing of their rivals.

Paradox promises that all the core game mechanics have been improved via the free patch that is also being launched for Crusader Kings II, with better user interface, more intelligent AI and more options for modding.

The expansion is offered via digital download series on the PC and the company says that it will continue to support it in the long term.
