The developer and publisher Paradox Interactive have announced that they are launching a pre-order campaign for their upcoming grand strategy title Crusader Kings II, allowing those who get the game early to get access to two pieces of downloadable content.
The Mongol Families DLC for Crusader Kings II includes a few thousands of unique face combinations for Mongol families as they appear in the game and seven new unit sprites, used for Archers, Horse Archers, Heavy Infantry, Pikemen, Light Infantry, Light Cavalry and Heavy Cavalry.
The Dynasty Shields DLC is also best suited to those who are interested in the looks of the strategy game, adding 50 unique dynastic shields for the most important families of Medieval Europe.
Those who would like to see what Crusader Kings II has to offer can also download a
demo from Paradox.
The Crusader Kings II experience is focused more on individual characters and families than on nations and the conflicts between them, something unique when it comes to the experience delivered by Paradox-made games.
