The team at the Paradox Development Studios announces that it is offering all those who have purchased Crusader Kings II a new beta version of patch 2.1.5 to test, with a number of changes made to the core gameplay of the grand strategy title.

The company says, “If you want to help us test it, right click the game in the Steam client, choose Properties, click the Betas tab and select the Beta 2.1.5.7 version of the game. This will hopefully be the last beta patch before we turn it into a proper patch, so this one should iron out all the issues that have cropped up during the beta.”

The big changes include a fix for a possible crash that happened after changing the save game directory with the delete dialog open and optimizations to the core engine.

A range of other minor elements of Crusader Kings II have been tweaked, with a full list offered on the official forums.

Paradox has recently launched the Rajas of India expansion for Crusader Kings II, introducing an entirely new subcontinent filled with nations for gamers to control, and the company has suggested that more content for the title is being created, although it has offered no details on its nature.
