CrunchBang, a Linux distribution based on Debian and powered by the lightweight Openbox window manager, designed especially for low-end machines, is now at version 11 R20120430

CrunchBang 11 R20120430 distribution, codenamed "Waldorf", is based on Wheezy sources which is the testing branch of Debian. This means that changes, bugs and breakages are expected.

Highlights of CrunchBang 11 R20120430:

· SLiM has replaced the deprecated GDM. LightDM might be included in future builds, but according to the developers is dosen't provide any advantages; · Chromium has replaced Iceweasel; · Compton has replaced xcompmgr and Cairo Composite Manager, because it provides a stable compositing solution; · PulseAudio is now available by default.
