14 DAY TRIAL // A Utah County dad has become an internet sensation with his photo in short cutoff pants making him a social media darling.
Scott Mackintosh put on the Daisy Dukes to teach his daughter about how inappropriate and unflattering the outfit is. The dad in short shorts first published the photo on his wife's website.
He described for Deseret News how the post became an instant viral photo, getting 70,000 comments on tumblr and becoming a trend on Twitter.
He explained that, on a Monday dedicated to family time consisting of dinner and miniature golfing, the girl wanted to wear the shortest pants she could find.
"Instead of turning her response and disrespectful attitude into a major battle, I decided to make a 'small' statement on how her short-shorts maybe aren't as 'cute' as she thinks!" he says.
Now if he could only put on Miley Cyrus' VMA outfit, the world would be a better place.
