The development team at Bulwark Studios and publisher Kadeso Games announce that they are working on a new title called Crowntakers, which will include a mix of strategy and role-playing mechanics and will be launched on the PC, SteamOS devices, iOS and Android tablets.

The two companies state, “Dark times are imminent: the king’s abduction throws a once peaceful land into turmoil. Being the chosen one elected by the king himself through one of your dreams, you embark on an adventurous journey to free him from the hands of the evil duke and go down in history as the kingdom’s greatest hero. But time is of the essence…”

The game is designed to offer an entirely new world every time the game starts, with a number of environments to explore and mercenaries for the player to hire in order to take to the battlefield.

Crowntakers will ask gamers to gather resources, get allies, level up characters, gather equipment and potions in order to succeed at their core task of eliminating evil from the title’s fantasy world.

All the combat in the game is turn based and players will have to carefully consider each move and deploy innovative tactics in order to defeat their enemies.
