CrossOver Linux, an application based on Wine that allows users to install popular Windows applications and PC games on a Linux computer, has just received an update that makes the software compatible with a few other operating systems.

CrossOver is making great strides for Linux, and the new version brings support for a couple of operating systems.

According to the developers, a problem which caused CrossOver's Bottle Manager to fail on older Linux distributions, including RHEL 6 and CentOS 6, has been corrected.

CrossOver Linux is capable of running a wide range of Windows software and games. To see if your favorite application works with CrossOver, please check the What Runs section on the official website.
