14 DAY TRIAL // Authorities have recovered the lifeless body of a man who disappeared in the Mary River Wilderness Retreat in Australia over the weekend.
As I reported, Sean Cole was bit by a crocodile in the infested waters of the river. He was then carried underwater by the croc as his friends watched on in terror.
He was attending a birthday party at the time and he was told not to swim in the dangerous waters of the lake.
“When you get here, you are told there are crocs, that the river is full of them. Don't swim. Stay at least five meters back from the river,” resort manager Erin Bayard explained.
According to TVNZ, officials dragged the lake and killed four crocodiles which were becoming a menace during the rescue effort.
