Criss Angel and Cameron Diaz - A Cat and Mouse Game

The mysterious magician Criss Angel, most known for his magic show, "Mindfreak", seems to be the ideal man from the ladies' dreams: tall, dark, handsome and mysterious. The mysterious part is what makes him target practice for masters of gossip, who claim that Criss also has quite the love life, being paired over time with Fiona Apple, Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton and Minnie Driver. Also his "secret" ex-wife, Joanne Sarantakos, claims he cheated on her while they were married and also denied her financial support when she needed it. She also says that they split up because of her husband's alleged passion for Cameron Diaz.

The press speculated about Criss' relationship with Cameron ever since May when they were seen partying together in Las Vegas. Also Criss declared that Cameron is amazing and that he is proud to have her as a friend, therefore denying any other kind of relationship with her. He said in June that "Do you think that Cameron Diaz, the most beautiful woman in the world, would have any interest in me? We're just friends when it comes down to it - no benefits, just friends. Friendship is an important thing in life. She doesn't want anything from me. I don't want anything from her. We have a lot of fun. The truth of the matter is she's an awesome person, a friend. We do what friends do. We have a good time." Well, I guess she either isn't THAT awesome since she doesn't want to date him, or maybe they're just playing around with the press. Still, he pulled a rabbit out of his hat by making a weird statement after a New York cement block stunt, claiming he loves Cameron. Hmm...

In July, Criss has been linked to Paris Hilton, a rumor he firmly denied, also stating that the press is unreliable, since they supposedly lied about his relationship with Cameron. He said on "Larry King" that the press has an obsession for linking everyone to everybody else. In the same show, he accused his wife of trying to manipulate the public with lies about their marriage and his financial support, and that she's constantly trying to put the blame on Cameron Diaz for everything. Recently, he also felt sorry that the press took his words about loving Cameron and turned them into a speculation: "I am a loving person... I come from a Greek family. I tell everyone I love them. Cameron is a friend and I love her like that. It was taken out of context". Come on...He is so hot about her and it's all he's been talking about for over three months now. There's definitely something "magical" going on between them and I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a disappearing act together, maybe "teleporting" to a nice tropical island...
