Criss Angel Threatens Miss USA Judge

Criss Angel is one of those people who make you wonder why anyone in their right mind would put them on TV. However, someone out there loves Angel, and is keen to allow his face to grace small screens around the world, frightening young kids with his unshaved, poser "rocker" image, despite the fact that he is famous for nothing in particular - except maybe for being linked with Cameron Diaz and Pamela Anderson, and faux-dating Britney Spears prior to her disastrous MTV VMA performance. However, according to the much-hyped "ugly guys get the hottest ladies" theory, Angel is currently dating a beauty queen, Miss Nevada, Veronica Grabowski, to be more precise. So in love is he with his most recent conquest, that when Veronica didn’t make the pageant finals over the weekend, he threw a hissy fit and threatened a TV critic.

Angel's wrath (couldn't resist the pun) was apparently unleashed when his girl Veronica Grabowski, didn’t make the finals of the Miss USA pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort. Angel first vented his frustration by flipping the NBC cameras, but really kicked into gear when he set his eyes on Las Vegas Review Journal columnist Norm Clarke. Criss apparently held a grudge against Clarke ever since the columnist had published an interview with preliminary judge Sandy Mecca - she claimed Angel had tried to 'extort" her into giving Grabowski "high marks". So, when our boy Criss met Clarke once the show had ended, he apparently yelled, "You’re a [bleeping] idiot!" and then proceeded to mock him due to the fact that the journalist was wearing a patch over one eye. "Don’t ever write another word about me or you’ll need an eye patch over your other eye," Angel shouted.

Clarke's reply was "Good one! Never heard that one before". The interesting phenomenon to discuss here however is not Angel's rudeness, but the magician's oversize ego. We're talking about a man who wears eye-liner and massive amounts of bling jewelry, who usually looks like he showers once every couple of years and still has the nerve to display ridiculous amounts of arrogance. Either that or he was dead drunk at the time. When Angel’s representative was asked to comment the situation, the only reply was that "it was an emotional night for everyone".
