“Mindfreak” magician Criss Angel is ready to walk down the aisle once more. He proposed to girlfriend Sandra Gonzalez during a recent romantic break – and she, of course, said yes, his publicist confirms. He may not strike one as the most romantic guy in the world, but clearly appearances can be very deceiving.
E! Online reports that Criss proposed to Sandra during a very romantic sunset dinner on the beach – and he even had everything planned out for a surprise engagement party.
The two were on vacation earlier this month in Cabo San Lucas when he popped the big question.
The illusionist’s publicist wouldn't give out too many details, but he did say that both Criss and Sandra were “ecstatic” at taking their relationship to the next level.
“Angel offered up a 5-carat princess-cut diamond on a platinum band that he co-designed along with New York jeweler Idayne Kaye,” the e-zine reports.
A photo that has emerged online – and which you can also see attached to this article – shows but a small glimpse at the bauble but, given the interest the news has generated already, rest assured more on it will emerge very soon.
“Per his rep, on the night of Sept. 7 he and Gonzalez were having a romantic sunset dinner on the beach when he popped the question,” E! says of the surprise Criss had for Sandra.
“Angel had flown her family in as a surprise and they showed up right after she accepted, fireworks blasting overhead,” adds the same publication.
A wedding has not been set – or, more accurately put, announced – just yet. This will be Criss’ second marriage.
In the past, he’s also been linked to some of the most beautiful women in showbiz, from Cameron Diaz to Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson and, more recently, Hugh Hefner’s ex Holly Madison.
